Riverside Construction Company, Inc. was originally founded in May of 1962 in Vicksburg, Mississippi by Lewis Miller, Sr. under the name of "Lewis Miller Construction Company." In July of 1993, Lewis Miller, Jr. became President of the company. At this time, the company was incorporated in the State of Mississippi and the name of the company was changed to "Riverside Construction Company, Inc." Since 1962, the company has provided construction services for both the public and private sector throughout the Southeastern United States. Riverside Construction thrives on quality and performance. Our greatest resource is our reliable, knowledgeable, and safety-conscious personnel. Riverside has the capability, equipment and experience to build any project while meeting all expectations.

Riverside Construction excels at performing marine construction operations and projects. These marine construction projects can range in scope of work and size. Marine construction projects can include a vast range of differing scopes of work, including but not limited to: push boat services, barge services including crane barge up to 225 tons, spud barges, deck barges, and hopper barges, 5 cubic yard capacity material handler with 60 feet of reach capability on spud barge, rip rap placement from barges, rock dike construction, pile driving operations (pipe piles, sheet pile, H-pile, concrete pile, timber pile) on water, and oversize construction hauling services via barge.

Heavy Construction / Site Work

Riverside Construction excels at performing heavy construction / site work projects. These heavy construction / site work project can range in scope of work and size. Heavy construction / site work projects can include a vast range of differing scopes of work, including but not limited to: stone supply, delivery, and placement including 610 base material, 57 stone, 67 stone, rip rap, and other gradations, pile driving operations (pipe piles, sheet pile, H-pile, concrete pile, timber pile) on land, concrete auger cast piles, tie back anchor systems, wall construction (concrete, gunite, steel and timber), concrete work (form setting, reinforcing, flat, curb and gutter) excavation operations, drainage systems, bank stabilization, soil stabilization / soil mixing (cement treated soil, lime treated soil), levee construction, oil field construction, road construction, parking lots, heavy site development (residential, commercial, civil) environmental remediation, clearing and grubbing operations, debris removal operations, dump truck services, and crane rental (up to 225 ton, hydraulic and conventional on land) .

Relief Well Installation

Riverside Construction excels at performing relief well installation for the government along mainline levees. Riverside Construction has installed over 1,000 relief wells for the USACE, Vicksburg District. Riverside Construction installs relief wells both by the vibratory method (which was developed by both Riverside and the Vicksburg District USACE working together) and the reverse rotary method.
